Hoists

Our hoists have been crafted with components optimised for reliability and durability. We offer heavyweight hoists with a variety of specifications and lightweight hoists with a maximum load of 23kg.

Heavyweight Hoists

The hoists are used to load and unload electric scooters and wheelchairs into the load space of estate vehicles, people carriers and some hatchbacks. If the scooter or wheelchair will fit into the load space of your vehicle then the hoist will most likely work.

It is simple to operate, being equipped with a control box mounted on the jib section, and two push buttons are provided for up and down functions. The control box is provided with a circuit breaker that can be reset to prevent damage by accidental overloading of the system. Rotation of the jib is manual, but requires little effort as a result of the phosphor-bronze pivot bearing. A locking mechanism is provided for lowering the jib for storage purposes when not in use.

The system comes complete and ready to use with lifting bracket (docking device) fitted to the frame of the scooter or wheelchair.

The power supply for the hoist is provided by the vehicle's battery that is hand wired via a main fuse to the hoist.
