Celebrating our Investment in Skills

Last week we won an award for the work we do investing in skills with young people in education and beginning their working life.

During the presentation they said: "This employer is a highly committed partner, demonstrating sustained investment in skills development, workforce capability and future engineering talent. Through apprenticeships and t-level engagement they support the development of technical skills in advanced manufacturing while strengthening long-term business growth.

Their involvement in skills advisory groups and wider innovation initiatives ensures training remains aligned to industry needs and helps shape the future regional skills pipeline."

Having a team who get alongside the next generation of engineers, both helping them learn and being willing to learn from them, is a fantastic element of how we operate.

The t-level placement students, apprentices and all students who visit for site tours or interview practice are a credit to the colleges.

As an SME, being recognised on an evening where the winners also included incredible companies such as Siemens and Sharp was really honouring. We strongly believe we all have a part to play in developing future engineers so a huge congratulations goes to all recognised companies and individuals.
