Car club and car sharing schemes are not a new phenomenon but with the cost of owning a vehicle rising, it is becoming an interesting option for more motorists who maybe do not need regular access to a car or need a different type of vehicle for specific occasions.
If you require an adaptation, joining a car club may not seem like a viable option for you.
We recently visited POD Calder Valley Shared Transport https://pod-caldervalley.co.uk/ to discuss with them and an adapted vehicle driver the possibility of offering adapted vehicles through their car club.
We are always working towards enabling adapted vehicle users to be able to access the same opportunities as those who do not need adaptations, so we’re excited to hopefully work together to offer a solution for many adapted vehicle users in the future.
