Community Freedom Mural

As a large part of our work is helping people regain their independence through driving, getting involved in a local project all about how people view ‘freedom’ fitted perfectly.

We were approached by a team from our local library who were running a project called “Our Freedom: Then and Now”. This involved collecting and displaying people’s thoughts around freedom and also creating a mural which is now displayed on the side of the library building.

We collected bottle tops which were used by Plastic Shed to create beautiful artwork and also handcrafted the metalwork elements of the mural.

We’re proud to have played a part in this project, celebrating creativity, community spirit and the many forms freedom can take.
