The Kia EV5 has been a popular vehicle throughout it’s first six months of deliveries to customers.
The first of our products designed for this model was the Apex Assist boot hoist. This will load up to 100kg and has a reasonable sized opening for taking a mobility device. As always, please check with us the compatibility of your mobility device before ordering.
Next we designed a left foot accelerator. As the accelerator pedal is a fully floor mounted electronic pedal in the EV5, we have designed an electric left foot accelerator.
To round off our product designs for this vehicle, we have also completed a push/pull brake/accelerator hand control design. This is available with or without the integral indicator switch. Due to the floor mounted accelerator pedal mentioned above, a hinged accelerator pedal is not possible.
We also cannot design a transfer plate for this vehicle as the space between the b-post and the vehicle seat does not allow for the plate to be installed.
