One month ago we announced the hand control design for the BYD Sealion 5 and we have now also completed the left foot accelerator design for this car. As well as these two driving adaptations, we also have a boot hoist available for the Sealion 5.
The type of left foot accelerator fitted depends on the original accelerator pedal in the car. The Sealion 5 requires a twin folding left foot accelerator as it has a conventional pedal which hangs down. The first BYD we designed, the Seal U, required an electric left foot accelerator as it has a floor mounted accelerator pedal.
