The modern Fiat 500 was launched back in 2007 and has kept a very similar design since. In 2013 we saw a
different accelerator pedal within the vehicle which meant a re-design of all our products was required to
fit this newer pedal.
The hand controls and left foot accelerator were required quickly and were re-designed back in 2013 and then
we have recently been requested to carry out a hinged accelerator design for this model too. If you have the
earlier 2007 to 2014 please get in touch to discuss the hinged accelerator pedal further.
The hinged accelerator pedal is a favourable addition alongside the push/pull brake/accelerator hand control
as it allows you to flip the accelerator pedal up providing more leg room and a more natural seating
position.
