The Mercedes G-Class seems immune to the changes that time brings. Its appearance has hardly changed at all throughout its 40-year life span, still retaining the boxy outline as well as the body-on-frame construction – and still loved because of it. We were lucky enough to recently have one of these in our workshop (towering over everything) and we completed a design for our push/pull brake/accelerator hand controls.
