In 2022 we were approached and asked if we would be able to assist the British Wheelchair Archery Association (BWAA) in producing a suitable stool to be used by some of their archers.
The technical brief was very specific, covering exact dimensions and weights to ensure the equipment would be accepted for use during competitions.
One of our engineers took on the project and was delighted with a new challenge that was another piece of engineering that would align with our company values and make a difference to the lives of those who use it.
One of the archers thanked us for their stool by saying, “It is a beautiful piece of engineering, and I feel so much more stable and secure using it. This has already translated to my shot process, and I can’t wait to build on this.”
The BWAA have continued to request more stools and we are currently manufacturing our third batch which will be provided to them in September. They require more due to the popularity as they stated, “Most of the stools are sold to people who have had them recommended by someone who has already purchased them".
