Designed for drivers with limited upper body movement, particularly those who only have use of one hand. These units allow secondary functions such as indicators, headlights, horn and windscreen wipers to be operated by a wireless keypad control incorporated into a steering aid mounted on the steering wheel.

Steering Ball Grip - Lodgesons

A remote control device is a steering aid, fastened to the steering wheel of the vehicle, with an additional keypad to operate the secondary functions on the vehicle.

There are different units available depending on the functions you require assistance operating.

We offer remote control devices from two different manufacturers. With increased complexities of vehicle systems, and different operating systems across manufacturers, availability of these devices and the functions may vary depending on the model of vehicle. Lodgesons Remote Control Devices

Lodgesons are a UK based manufacturer of remote control devices. They have three grip options and varying levels of function availability depending on the unit you choose.

The steering ball and lollipop grip styles are available in three different function options (R207/R210/R213).

For guidance, the options for levels of function are:

R207 Unit:

Indicators (only self-cancelling on a selection of vehicle models)
Lights dip/main & flash
Illumination function for night-time use

R210 Unit:

Front wipers - intermittent, low & high speed
Front washers

R213 Unit:

Rear wash & wipe

Horn and hazard light functions are only available on limited vehicle models. If possible on your chosen vehicle, they will be included on all unit options.

The Eurogrip is available in one grip style and two options for levels of functions (R210/R213).

R210 Unit:

Bever Remote Control Devices

Bever are a Netherlands-based manufacturer of remote control devices. They have two grip options and varying levels of function availability depending on the unit you choose.

The grip options are Classic or Premium. Both grip options are available as either a 5-touch or 8-touch.

For guidance, the options for levels of functions are:

5-touch Unit:

Indicators (only self-cancelling on a selection of vehicle models)
Lights dip/main & flash
Illumination function for night-time use
Front wipers
Front washers
Horn

8-touch Unit:

Front & rear fog lights
Rear Wipers
Rear Washer

Horn and hazard light functions are only available on limited vehicle models. If possible on your chosen vehicle, it will be included on both the 5-touch and 8-touch.
